Ming Xiayi: Master's student of 2024, born in Xianning, Hubei, under the supervision of Guo Yanbing. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Jiangxi Normal University.
During my undergraduate studies, I served as the class life committee member, responsible for daily activity attendance and class fee management. During my undergraduate studies, I actively participated in laboratory work, with a main research focus on optimizing organic synthesis reactions. My main responsibility was to screen reaction conditions and develop methods that make reactions mild, alkali free, with a wide range of substrates and good functional group tolerance.
My undergraduate thesis mainly developed a method for generating benzo [h] [1,6] naphthoprim derivatives from the reaction of quinazolin-3-oxide and alkyne ene conjugated ketones. Under the catalysis of TsOH, quinazolin-3-oxide reacts with 1,3-diphenyl-2- (3-phenyl-2-acetylene) methylene-1,3-propanedione to form multi substituted benzo [h] [1,6] naphthoprim derivatives with good to excellent yields. After screening the factors that affect the reaction, such as material ratio, reaction temperature, catalyst, and solvent, optimized reaction conditions were obtained. A series of benzo [h] [1,6] naphthoprim derivatives were synthesized under optimized reaction conditions.
I am positive and optimistic, never give up easily when faced with difficulties, humble and eager to learn, kind to others, and enjoy exercising regularly. I am willing to try new things and keep up with current events and news.
