On January 31, 2024, the year-end summary and 2024 planning conference of Professor Guo Yanbing's atmospheric pollution control science and technology team was held in the conference room of Qingshan District Photochemical Research Institute in Wuhan. At the beginning of the meeting, various research groups including TiO2, DPF, GDY, and O3 presented their research results, shared their research experience, looked forward to future plans, and promoted the research work of the research groups to achieve better results.
Professor Guo Yanbing and Professor Wang Jinlong conducted real-time in-depth analysis and discussion on the challenges faced by students in the academic direction of their research projects. At the same time, they reviewed the projects, high-level paper publications, and patent authorizations of the research group in 2023, and summarized the phased research achievements and scientific and technological awards achieved by the research group in 2023. Special emphasis is placed on the breakthroughs made by the research team in funding projects and the field of machine learning. While sharing the joy, Teacher Guo also pointed out the hard won achievements of the research group. He commended the outstanding team members who have performed well in the past year, including the Annual Best Paper Award, Annual Best Research Award, Annual Best Newcomer Award, etc., to motivate team members to better engage in research work. Finally, the teachers and students of the research group are encouraged to maintain their enthusiasm for scientific research, strengthen communication and exchange, seize opportunities in academic research, carry on the past and open up the future, forge ahead, seize the day, and live up to their youth!
During the dinner, the team carefully prepared various performances, game segments, and lottery activities. Not only can we exchange ideas academically, but we can also bring team members closer together and enhance cohesion during the performance.
This year-end summary meeting is not only a summary of the past, but also a outlook for the future. Through joint efforts, we look forward to further enhancing the research level of the team, promoting closer cooperation among members, and contributing more to the development of air pollution control science and technology. Thank you all for your enthusiastic participation. Let's face the challenges of the new year together!
